What happened to the TransCanada pipeline?

TransCanada pulled out of its plan to build a pipeline to Eastern Canada because Ottawa stated the project would now have to undergo a complete greenhouse gas emissions review. Colin wondered if Ottawa demanded similar reviews for other companies like Bombardier that received government subsidies this year amounting to $373 million and Ford that received $102 million.
