Taxpayers Paid Hundreds of Thousands Waiting for NS Gov To Act on Bloomfield

According to documents received through Freedom of Information, taxpayers are paying over $11,000 a month to maintain the old Bloomfield School site waiting for the province to start developing the area. 

Taxpayers spent about $136,000 in 2015/16 maintaing the old Bloomfield buildings that were unused, falling down and slated for demolition. In 2014/15 the cost was $301,566.
