Employee discount tax was also an attack on small business
Saskatchewan Director Todd MacKay says the CRA's recent decision to tax employee discounts, since cancelled, was not only an attack on employees but as well small businesses owners who would be forced to track these discounts in order to tax them. Todd says many over-burdened employers would be tempted to just cancel the discount.
