BC's ICBC will bleed out a billion dollars this year.
CTF BC Director Kris Sims says the because ICBC is a government-forced monopoly, BC drivers have no choice but to use it for their car insurance. British Columbia already have the highest car insurance rates in Canada and with this deficit, their premiums will go even higher. Kris says the government should change ICBC into a co-op and open up car insurance to competition.
