Winnipeg needs to cut spending

When Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz suggested the city implement a gas tax, Prairie director Colin Craig says before the city goes after new sources of revenue, it should first get its own house in order by controlling spending. One way this could be done is by reducing city employee salaries and benefits which are significantly higher than equivalent jobs in the private sector.
