TTC Worker Caught Sleeping

Author: Lee Harding 2010/01/22

A Toronto Transit Commission worker photographed asleep on the job has the twitter world, well, all a-twitter. It has also inspired some great parodies. He is being spoofed everywhere, and no wonder. After the latest fare increase on January 3, it costs $3 to take the bus, and $120 for a monthly pass. The least Torontonians should expect is that subway and bus employees are actually awake!

Check out this timeline chart of TTC fare increases and even more parodies, of which the following are only a few. As for mainstream media, the Globe and Mail says, "Nice work if you can get it."
