Ontario could fund in-vitro (CBC)

Author: Kevin Gaudet 2009/09/09
A report recommends that Ontario follow Quebec's lead and fund 3 InVitro fertilization treatments for any woman who wants it, whether single or married, straight or gay. Kevin Gaudet of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation comments that with the dollar shortage and backlog in Canadian health care, funding invitro will mean less dollars for hip replacements or other more necessary procedures. Premier Dalton McGuinty says he will consider the report.
