"Beers and Bipole"

Author: Colin Craig 2011/06/17
Not sure what you think about "that Hydro line issue" in the news these days?

You know the one they call "Bipole III"?

Well, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation will be putting on a panel discussion on the issue later on this month so the public can learn more about it. Hopefully you can attend!

Liberal leader Jon Gerrard and Progressive Conservative leader Hugh McFadyen have been confirmed as panelists. We are waiting to hear back from the NDP.

Admission to the event is free and the event is open to the public. A cash bar will open following the discussion and guests are invited to stick around and have a beer (or beverage of your choice) afterwards.

WHEN: June 27 @ 7pm
WHERE: Holiday Inn Airport West 2520 Portage Ave (Winnipeg)
COST: Free admission, cash bar

Feel free to invite your friends!

UPDATE: I spoke with the Premier's office yesterday and it looks like Premier Selinger will not be able to attend. Fortunately, the NDP are looking to send a representative in his place. Further, Green Party Leader James Beddome has been confirmed as a panelist as well.

UPDATE #2: Minister Stan Struthers will be speaking on behalf of the Premier.
