Atlantic Director and General Counsel
Devin Drover joined the CTF as the Atlantic Director and General Counsel in 2024 after working for five years in private legal practice representing clients in legal actions against municipal, provincial and federal governments. This advocacy work brought him all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador and various administrative bodies.
Devin holds combined Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Dalhousie University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
During his studies, Devin served as the Atlantic Coordinator for the CTF’s student organization, Generation Screwed; a researcher and writer for True North News and the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies; and, as a chapter leader for Runnymede Society, a national constitutional law membership organization.
In his free time, Devin enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, and walking their dog, Gigi, in his hometown of St. John’s, NL.
