SK: Time for Personal Income Tax Cuts

Download PDF Version

To the Premier:

With resource revenues booming, now is the time for Saskatchewan to close the gap with Alberta’s 10%  flat income tax rate and close the gap with its basic personal exemption.

These changes would attract more people to our province and leave existing residents with more disposable income for education, savings, and business ventures.

We, the undersigned, call upon the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan to reduce personal income tax rates down to 10% and 13%, and set a goal of matching Alberta's basic personal exemption.
