SK: Do It For Hard Working Farmers Mr. Wall

  • If SGEU workers at SCIC don't return to work within 24hrs, hire permanent replacements

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) responded to Premier Wall’s open letter to the Saskatchewan Government Employees Union today with applause and full support. The CTF encourages Premier Wall to follow up his tough talk with tough action should the union remain unconcerned about the people it is supposed to serve.

The CTF is urging Premier Wall to back up his 24hr deadline with tough action – permanent replacements for those that do not return to work.

“The crop insurance union has completely betrayed farmers in their time of need,” said CTF Prairie Director Colin Craig. “If the union doesn’t return to work within 24hrs, Mr. Wall should replace their jobs indefinitely. Premier Wall is right, it is appalling what the union has done.”
