To Premier Wall:

School taxes are a punitive form of taxation that are burdensome to individuals and businesses. Unlike income taxes, school taxes do not take into account a family’s ability to pay or a business’s struggle to survive.

As school funding is a provincial responsibility, the Saskatchewan government should pay for K-12 education through general revenues.

We the undersigned urge the provincial government to immediately commit to phasing out school taxes.
