Debt Clock Widget

How would you like to display Canada's current federal debt on your blog, forum or website? The Canadian Taxpayers Federation has a Debtclock widget you can install on your site.

When people visit your site, the widget (see below) provides a current display of the Canada's federal debt feeding from the CTF's Debt Clock at www.debtclock.ca.

If your website or blog supports Iframe, you can insert a replica of the debtclock on your site with numbers spinning in sync with our debtclock website.

Here is the code to insert:

<iframe src="http://www.debtclock.ca/ticker/widget.html" alt="" width="210" frameborder="0" height="135" scrolling="no"></iframe>

Second option

By simply refreshing the page, visitors can see see how fast the federal debt climbed during their visit. (Just refresh this page to watch the debt grow.)

The widget is 184 px by 120 px. To feature it on your site just cut and paste the code below into your site:

<a href="http://www.taxpayer.com/node/9547?utm_source=DCW&utm_medium=widget&utm_campaign=DebtClock"><img src="http://www.debtclock.ca/ticker/feddebt.php" border="0" width="184" height="120"></a>

Canada's Federal Debt

The federal government is adding $88 million a day to our debt. At this rate, the $105-billion in debt repayment between 1997 – 2008 will be wiped out this year. Support our campaign for a federal balanced budget law and help us STOP this clock.
