New Power Line: East Not West

Description

Manitoba needs a new power line to connect Winnipeg to dams in the north. Manitoba Hydro is being forced by the provincial government to build it down the west side of Manitoba instead of the shorter east route. A CTF report estimates this will cost Manitobans an extra $1 billion and will tear up 400 kms more of the environment.
