Sask MLAs Open to More Transparency

Yesterday the CTF called for greater transparency of MLA expenses in Saskatchewan, also pointing out that the Legislature is exempt from the province's Freedom of Information Act.

Fortunately, the response (see this Star Phoenix article) to the call for greater transparency was welcomed by both parties. The positive response from both parties was in stark contrast to the gang in Ottawa that kicked and screamed anytime anyone questioned their $500 million in annual spending!

Two thumbs up to the Sask crew, we look forward to seeing improvements to the current system in the near future...
