Student Internships
Interested in an internship with the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF)? The CTF offers full and part-time, paid and volunteer internship opportunities in Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Halifax.
Our internship program offers post-secondary students and recent graduates the unique opportunity to work along side provincial communications directors and our national research director, conducting research and advocacy work.
Past interns have worked on various research and communications projects that have resulted in local and nation-wide releases and media coverage, including:
- MP pension calculations
- Toronto garbage strike
- Ontario’s Blended Sales Tax
- Federal election candidate reimbursements
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is pleased to announce its second year partnership with the Manning Centre for Building Democracy.
Administered by the Manning Centre, the program places interns inside issue and advocacy groups – including the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. In addition to working directly with influential opinion-makers, interns receive cutting-edge training from the Manning Centre on issues and action campaigning both on and off campus.
During the summer of 2010, two interns will be placed with the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, one in our Ottawa office, the other in a location to be determined.

Application deadline is March 24, 2010.
